September 2015 | Origins Centre, Johannesburg

This devised, immersive, and site responsive work took place in the captivating Origins Centre Museum and composed of stories created from the real-life migration narratives of the families of the cast. The design dealt with a leave no trace concept. Every set piece, prop and lighting component was brought in by the cast and cleared at the end of the show. Like nomadic travellers, the costumes operated like the shell of a snail; a home on there backs, containing all essentials.
